Cultivating. Saucy. Low-key.
Last year, the Jackson Chapter began developing their Political Education (PE), and launched a community Political Education Driving Tour. They held PEs after movie screenings, held Toxic Masculinity meetings, and more.
During 2018, Jackson Chapter hosted healing spaces, attended trainings, and developed Principles of Liberation to guide their chapter culture and work. Jackson Chapter supported those interested in electoral participation by holding a “Wakanda Forever” voter registration event, and engaging in city-wide voter registration. Jackson participated in and supported the local Poor People's Campaign as well as the protest of the Mississippi Department of Corrections by helping to implement their actions.
