DURHAM BEYOND POLICING

We called for our city's budget to hold a commitment to #BuildBlackFutures. This campaign's strategy and coalition building led directly to the wins of the Participatory Budgeting campaign.
Durham chapter worked in partnership with Durham's Participatory Budgeting effort to secure $2.4 million in community funding. Members Kyla and AJ were selected for the Participatory Budgeting steering committee.
